Sensitive components
Load cell: A component that directly senses the measured (mass) and outputs other quantities that are definitely related to the measured amount. For example, the elastomer of the resistance strain gauge load cell is to transform the mass of the measured object into deformation; The elastomer of a capacitive load cell converts the measured mass into displacement.
Replace the components
Also known as the sensing element, it converts the output of the sensitive element into a signal that is easy to measure. For example, the resistance strain gauge (or resistance strain gauge) of the resistance strain gauge load cell converts the deformation of the elastomer into the change of the amount of resistance; Capacitive load cells are capacitors that convert the displacement of the elastomer into a change in capacitance. Sometimes some components have both the functions of a sensitive component and a switching component. For example, the piezoelectric material of voltage load cells outputs electricity together with deformation under the action of external load.
Measuring elements
Load cell: Converts the output of the changeover element into an electrical signal to facilitate further transmission, processing, display, recording or control. Such as the bridge circuit in the resistance strain gauge load cell, the charge preamplifier of the piezoelectric load cell.
Auxiliary power supply
It supplies energy to the electrical signal output of the sensor. Generally, load cells need external chain power supply to operate. Therefore, as a product, the requirements for the power supply must be indicated, but not as an integral part of the load cell. Some sensors, such as magnetoelectric speed sensors, do not require a power supply because they output a large amount of energy. So not all sensors need to have a secondary power supply.
