Sensors and actuators keep an eye on different signals, operate in different ways, and must work together to complete the mission. They are also physically located in different areas and are often used in solitary applications.
Inputs and outputs
Sensors check for inputs from the environment that trigger specific actions. On the other hand, the actuator tracking system and the output of the machine.
Signal
The sensor reads the specific environmental conditions through an electronic signal and fulfills the assigned mission. However, the fulfillment measures heat or motion energy to determine the effect produced.
Relying on
Sensors and fulfillments can actually rely on each other to perform specific missions. If both are present, the fulfillment will rely on sensors to do its job. If one or both of them are not functioning properly, the system will not be able to function.
Switch directions
Sensors tend to convert physical properties into electrical signals. The fulfillment has the opposite effect: it changes the electrical signal into a physical action.
location
If there is both a sensor and a fulfillment, the first is the input port and the latter is the output port.
use
Sensors are typically used to measure temperature, oscillation, pressure or liquid level of property. The industrial use of fulfillments consists of operating dampers, valves and couplings.
Examples of fulfillers and sensors
In the industrial context, actuators and sensors are used for many purposes. They all help critical property work more efficiently, which in turn helps reduce downtime and increase productivity.

The pressure sensor is selected with an internal factor in mind – Turck
When selecting a pressure sensor, it is necessary to consider the internal elements of the sensor.
One of the many questions we often encounter in industrial production projects is what type of sensor should we choose, the characteristics of the sensor, the scale and the data requirements? Let's dissect exactly ...

The difference between a transmitter and a sensor – Turck
A sensor is a general term for a device or device that can be measured by rules and converted into a usable output signal according to certain rules, which is generally composed of a sensitive element and a conversion element. When the output of a sensor is a regular gauge signal, it is called a transmitter.

Advantages of Turck sensors for linear position
Turck's linear displacement sensors have an additional measuring stroke of 100 to 4500 mm. It uses the magnetoelastic principle and non-touch measurement method, and provides a high accuracy of μm according to the 16-bit D/A conversion resolution. It can be changed according to the actual application needs through a very simple programming method.

Safety requirements for safety relays – Turck
The safety relay is a safety loop with all the necessary control parts, which accepts the safety input, and after the internal circuit discrimination, the deterministic output switching signal to the control circuit of the equipment. To put it simply, the safety relays are all two-channel signal type, and only two channel signals are positive.

Turck's solution to the problem of torque sensors
Torque sensors are generally used to measure the magnitude and direction of the driver's torque acting on the steering wheel and convert it into an electrical signal. The power steering ECU receives this signal and the vehicle speed signal, confirms the direction and size of the auxiliary power, and then reduces the steering torque when traveling at low speeds.

Composition and classification of sensors – Turck
1. Composition of the sensor
A sensor typically consists of a sensitive element, a conversion element, and a basic conversion circuit, as shown in Figure 1. A sensitive element is an element that can sensitively feel the scene being measured and respond to a definite relationship; The conversion element is to convert the measured touch of the sensitive element into ...
