Types of load cells:

Electrical strain gauge load cells:

One widely used principle is the color of a resistive strain gauge (resistance strain gauge), where the resistance is changed to an electrical output, which is then passed through an instrument to measure the mass.

Capacitive load cells: low power consumption and low cost. The principle is to work by using the ratio between the vibration frequency f of the capacitor resonant circuit and the electrode plate interval d.

Digital load cell: simple adjustment, strong ability to integrate into on-site work. The principle is to convert force into electrical signals, integrating electronic amplifiers, AD conversion technology and new sensors with microcontrollers.

Piezomagnetic load cell: suitable for large-tonnage weighing work, the accuracy is not high, generally 1/100. The principle is that the ferromagnetic element is deformed, resulting in a change in the internal permeability and a change in the coil-induced voltage. After the change in the measured voltage, the force added to the magnetic pole can be found, and then the mass of the measured object is determined.

Plate-and-ring load cells: The market accounts for a large share, but the planning formula is not perfect and the error is large. It has the characteristics of clear streamline distribution, high output sensitivity, overall elastomer data and simple structure.

Load cells are mainly used in various electronic scales, industrial control, online control, device overload alarm, data testing machine and other fields, and its selection is mainly based on the weighing type, device mode, stress, performance index, structure, elastomer data and other factors, suitable for platform scales, truck scales, belt scales, rail scales and other scales.

Generally speaking, the influence of high temperature environment on the sensor coating data melting, solder joint opening, elastic stress structure change, dust, humidity on the sensor short circuit, the formation of sensor elastomer damage or short circuit phenomenon in a high corrosion environment, electromagnetic field interference sensor output, it is necessary to select the corresponding sensor to meet the necessary weighing requirements.

There are three categories of sensors: alloy steel analog sensors, stainless steel analog sensors, and stainless steel digital sensors. The size of the product device of the same type and the same capacity is the same, and the mechanical structure is universal, which is convenient for the series planning of the weighing system and the transformation of the weighing system. The sensor is nickel-plated, laser-welded and sealed with IP68 maintenance.

The single-point compact beam sensor is welded and sealed in stainless steel. Excellent performance, four corner errors are compensated. The sensor is sandblasted and IP68 maintained, which can cope with various complex environments.

The digital column load cell is made of stainless steel welded seal, with high maintenance level, long bus communication transmission distance, fast speed, excellent anti-cheating performance, and simple maintenance of string lines between sensors.
