Manufacture of resistive plates

First of all, there is a need to manufacture thin-film resistive sheets. The resistor sheet material is cut to the required scale, and then a layer of adhesive is applied to its surface. The resistor sheet is fixed on one steel plate, and then the other steel plate is covered on it, and the two steel plates are flattened and fixed together by a press, and then placed in an incubator for curing. After curing, the two steel plates are separated, and the thin film resistor sheet is manufactured.

Secondly, the elastomer needs to be manufactured, the elastomer material is cut to the required scale, and then molded to shape it. During the shaping process, care should be taken not to make the elastomer too thin or too thick, so as not to affect the sensitivity and emotion of the sensor, and after the manufacturing is completed, the elastomer is placed in an incubator for curing.

A combination of resistors and elastomers

Next, the demand is to combine the electric sheet and the elastomer, place the thin film resistive sheet on the elastomer, and then use the adhesive to bond the two together, the demand is that the appearance of the resistor sheet and the elastomer can not have impurities such as bubbles or friendly dust, so as to avoid disturbing the operation of the sensor.

Finally, the sensor is connected to the electronics, wires are soldered to the sensor, and an adapter is used to connect the sensor to the electronics. After the connection is completed, the signal output by the sensor can be read through the electronic device

3. Matters to be aware of

Safety needs to be taken into account in the manufacturing process, especially when welding and joining operations.

When manufacturing elastomers, it is necessary to select the appropriate materials and shaping methods to ensure the sensitivity and accuracy of the sensor.
