The proximity sensor, also known as the contactless proximity switch, is an ideal electronic switch sensor. When the metal detector is close to the sensing area of the switch, the switch can be contactless, no pressure, no pattern, quickly issue electronic instructions, accurately respond to the position and stroke of the action mechanism, and even in the ordinary stroke control can be realized, the stroke period accuracy, running frequency, service life, easy installation and adjustment, suitable for harsh environments, compared with the general mechanical travel switch, is comparable. It has a wide range of applications in machine tools, metallurgy, chemical industry, textile, printing and other industries. The system can be used as a link for limiting, counting, positioning control and automatic protection.
The proximity switch is a kind of switching sensor (i.e., non-contact switch), which has the characteristics of both travel switch and micro switch, and at the same time has the characteristics of inductive performance, reliable action, stable performance, fast frequency response, long service life, strong anti-interference ability, etc., and has the advantages of waterproof, shockproof, corrosion resistance, etc. The main products are inductive, capacitive, er, AC and DC.
The inductive proximity switch consists of three parts: an oscillator, a switching circuit and an amplification output circuit. This oscillator produces an alternating magnetic field. When the metal target in the gold target is close to the magnetic field and reaches the sensing distance, it will generate eddy currents, causing oscillation attenuation until the oscillation stops. The changes in the oscillator oscillation and stop oscillation are processed by the post-amplification circuit, and converted into a switching signal to trigger the drive control device, so as to realize non-contact detection.

Sensor Selection Considerations – Benefit Us
In order to carry out a detailed measurement operation, it is necessary to first consider the principle of the sensor, which needs to be determined after analyzing many factors. Since, even if the same physical quantity is measured, there are multiple principles of sensors to choose from, which principle of sensor is more suitable, ...

How to use high-temperature pressure sensors - we are blessed
1. It is necessary for the sensor to be properly installed
Damage to high-temperature pressure sensors is usually caused by their installation in improperly machined holes. When a sensor is loaded into a hole that is too small or has a migraine, it may damage the sensor diaphragm and cause the instrument to not function properly.

Zero drift of high-frequency pressure sensors – we are blessed
There are several reasons for the formation of zero drift of high-frequency pressure sensors:
1. There are bubbles or impurities in the adhesive layer of the strain gauge
2. The function of the strain gauge itself is unstable
3. There are virtual solder joints in the circuit
4. The stress release of elastomers is incomplete; In addition to the magnetic field, ...

What are the designs of torque sensors – we are blessed
Unlike load cells or force transducers, the measuring body of a torque transducer is not subjected to a tension load during operation, but is affected by the lever torque or torque, which can be changed. Therefore, torque sensors require special strain gauges to measure this type of load, i.e. torque. Canon...

The correct way to test the output of the sensor – the sensor
1. Test for NPN output sensor
The NPN sensor output, also known as OC gate output, is based on the principle of open collector output of a transistor.
The principle of NPN type OC gate output is whether the output of the NPN transistor and GND are short-circuited. When the control is active, the transistor is turned on, the output and the GND ...
