The operating voltage of the cable
Generally speaking, there is a certain relationship between the operating voltage of the cable and the rated voltage. If some cable lines are not in use, they must be connected to the power grid to ensure that the cable lines are not exposed to moisture. In the event of a single-phase grounding when the neutral point is not grounded, the run time should be limited to less than 2 hours.
The operating temperature of the cable
From the perspective of the operation effect of the cable, if the cable running speed is too large, the temperature will rise, and the insulation and aging degree of the cable line will continue to improve. In addition, if the temperature of the cable route is too high, thermal expansion will occur. In severe cases, voids inside the cable can be formed, which will be free for a long time, and can also be directly damaged.
Therefore, during the operation of the cable, the staff should control the temperature of the conductor part of the cable core. In the case of the core of a 110KV oil-filled cable, its temperature should be controlled within the standard temperature range. However, since the temperature of the cable core cannot be measured, the staff should judge the temperature of the cable core based on the surface temperature of the cable. In general, the surface temperature difference should be controlled to around 15°C.
In addition, in the process of temperature measurement, the surveyor needs to take corresponding measures to limit the load, and the cables above and below the ground are inspected.
The operating load of the cable
Different cables ride in the voltage environment to operate the load is also different, under normal circumstances, the load is not allowed to be too large, but for the regular load current, less than the longest operating current can be used in a short period of time to meet the excess. In the case of cables less than 10KV, the maximum load current must not be greater than 110% of the rated current, and the residence time must not exceed 2 hours.
Other requirements for cable operation
In the process of cable operation, a reclosing structure is usually set up. After the circuit breaker trips, power cannot be sent directly. Mainly due to the permanence of the operation of the line, the staff needs to ensure the correctness of the phase after the cable line is connected.
The temperature of the cable is best measured in the summer, when the load on the cable route is greatest. In addition, in the process of application at the head and middle of the cable, it is not allowed to be electrified. If there is smoke in the cable or cable head, the staff should cut off the power supply as soon as possible and do a good job of extinguishing the fire.
