The main problems of the iron core of the small electromagnetic relay are that the armature cannot be sucked after being electrified:

This may be due to broken coils, foreign matter between the moving and static cores, and low power supply voltage. It should be patched on a case-by-case basis.

When energized, the armature is noisy:

This may be due to uneven contact surfaces between moving and static cores, or oil contamination. When the module relay is repaired, the coil should be removed and its contact surface should be filed or smoothed; If there is any oil stain, it should be cleaned. The noise may be caused by short circuits and ring cracking, and it is sufficient to repair or replace a new short circuit ring.

After a power outage, the armature cannot be released immediately:

This may be due to the moving core being stuck, the air gap of the core being too small, the tension spring being strained, and the contact surface of the core being oiled. When overhauling the general relay, it should be treated differently according to the cause of the problem, or adjust the air gap to make it maintain at 0.02-0.05mm, or replace the tension spring, or clean the oil with gasoline.

Burnout of the heating element:

This may be due to a short circuit on the load side, or a heat element that operates too frequently. During maintenance, the heating element should be replaced and the setting value should be adjusted from scratch. In the case of thermal relays, the sensing tissue is a thermal element. The common problem is the burning out of the heating element, or the malfunction and non-operation of the heating element.

Thermal element malfunction:

This may be due to the setting value is too small, the action is not overloaded, or there is a strong impact and oscillation in the application situation, which loosens the action tissue and trips and causes malfunction. The thermal element does not act. This may be caused by the setting value being too small, which makes the thermal element lose its overload maintenance function. During maintenance, the setting current should be adjusted according to the load operating current.
