How fork photoelectric sensors work:

Placing an optical transmitter and a receiver facing each other on either side of a slot is a fork photoelectric. The luminaire emits infrared or visible light, and the light receiver receives the light in an unobstructed condition. However, when the detected object passes through the slot, the light is blocked and the photoelectric sensor acts. A switch control signal is output to cut off or turn on the load current, so as to complete a control action. The detection distance of the slot switch is generally only a few centimeters due to the limitation of the overall structure.

Features and differences of fork photoelectric sensors:

The infrared transmitter and the infrared receiver are integrated into the photoelectric sensor, and the transmitter and receiver are respectively located on both sides of the groove groove, and form an optical axis, when the detected object passes through the groove groove and blocks the optical axis, the photoelectric sensor produces the detected switching signal.

Fork photoelectric sensors are safe and reliable, suitable for detecting high-speed changes, distinguishing between transparent and translucent objects, and can adjust sensitivity. When a detected object passes by, a sufficient amount of light emitted by the infrared transmitter of the optical slot-type electric switch is reflected to the infrared receiver receiver, so that the photoelectric sensor generates a switching signal.

Fork photoelectric sensors are characterized by fast reaction times, high anti-interference ability, and direct connection to logic circuits and optocouplers. Like other proximity switches, fork photoelectric sensors detect objects moving at high speeds because there is no mechanical movement.

It is important to note that the lens is susceptible to organic dust, etc., and the light will be scattered or blocked when the lens is protected from contamination, so it is necessary to apply appropriate protection devices when using the lens in an environment with a lot of living water vapor, dust, etc. It is almost unaffected by ambient light and is not affected by general illumination, but when strong light such as sunlight directly hits the light recipient, it can cause malfunction or damage.
