On April 8, 2022, Finrel announced that it has completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Tecnord S.p.A. in Italy, in addition to its subsidiaries Casappa and Ikron. This move will expand Casper's business in the field of hydraulic valves, improve the supporting capacity of hydraulic systems, and better provide customers with a full set of hydraulic system solutions.
Founded in 1981, Tecnord is a global player in the production of hydraulics, electronically controlled and fully integrated systems, with a range of high-tech products under its own brand. Headquartered in Modena, Italy, the company employs more than 250 people, and in 2021 the Modena plant produced more than 2.5 million products, with annual sales of more than 58 million / euro.
The acquisition is an important step in Finrel's strategic growth goals, and the addition of Tecnord adds an important complementary technology to the existing product line, giving Casper a broader portfolio of products in the hydraulics market and more optimized fluid power solutions.
