Casper Intelligent Power (CSP) represents the future of load-sensitive hydraulics, providing a smarter power solution for mechanical hydraulics. It is the proud work of Casper in response to the national policy of energy conservation and emission reduction, and in line with the technological trend of intelligence.
Current CSP
Compared to classic hydromechanical solutions, the existing CSP system optimizes the engine model, reduces the cost of the machine, and enables the engine of the machine to maximize performance and improve efficiency. In addition, due to the electronic load sensing control, the machine is more sensitive, maneuverable and practical. The system uses adaptive electronically controlled torque to optimise engine power and reduce emissions. Depending on the operating conditions, the operator can set different working modes.
Conventional machines that currently use load-sensitive flow sharing systems can be easily upgraded to Casper Intelligent Powertrain. The CSP system is suitable for all small machines with load sensitive systems.
CSP upgrade
In 2021, Casper released the upgraded version of the CSP system, which is an innovative product developed driven by technological trends such as high power density, digitalization, energy saving, and functional integration. It will facilitate the upgrade and digital transformation of mobile mechanical load-sensitive hydraulic control systems. Significant changes have been made both in terms of hardware and software, including the integration of an electronic controller into the pump housing, the addition of a new control software, and the addition of an existing one, for a total of 2 control software options.
Hardware upgrades
From a hardware point of view, the pump integrates an MVP piston pump, an angle sensor, an electronic pressure compensator and an electronic control unit. The most obvious advantage for the customer compared to traditional solutions that separate the electronic controller from the pump body is the simplified machine layout and system cost savings.
From a software point of view, we can now offer our customers two different control logic software that can be uploaded to the electronic controller. In addition to the existing CSP system software, there is also an open software (convenient and intelligent) to upgrade the CSP system - pump control logic, which can optimize the pump parameters in real time, make the pump control more flexible, optimize the customer-defined machine control logic, and have more accurate torque control.
