The fourth era of China helps green development
The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held this year included "actively and steadily promoting carbon peak and carbon neutrality" in the report, raising the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality to a new height. In order to achieve this goal, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China has also issued a series of regulations, among which the official implementation of the "National IV" emission standard for non-road mobile machinery from December 1, 2022 is of great significance to the construction machinery industry.
The "China IV" emission standard clearly stipulates that 37-560kW non-road mobile machinery should be equipped with wall-flow particulate matter traps (DPF), and different emission control technologies are used for non-road mobile machinery in different power segments. Compared with the "China III" equipment, it is estimated that the nitrogen oxide emissions of the "China IV" equipment can be reduced by 13%-45%, and the particulate matter emissions can be reduced by 50%-94%. At the same time, remote monitoring is required for the equipment emission control system.
The "China IV" emission standard also puts forward higher requirements for OEMs. Engines in the specified power range require the addition of a DPF aftertreatment system to meet the emission requirements. After the treatment system is adopted, the thermal radiation of the post-treatment body and connecting pipelines is large, and the engine also puts forward higher requirements for heat dissipation, which brings certain difficulties to the thermal balance of the whole machine, and it is necessary to solve the matching and optimization of the fan and radiator. At the same time, due to the large volume of the post-treatment body, higher requirements are also put forward for the layout and later maintenance of the whole machine, and more compact parts are required, especially hydraulic parts.

In terms of fuel, it can save an average of 14.5 liters of fuel per hour, which is estimated to save about $25,000 per year based on 10 hours a day and 300 days a year, and 44 grams of fuel consumption per liter can be saved in terms of emission reduction, and the fuel consumption can be reduced by about 14.5% when testing equipment using Casper's electronically controlled fan system.
Among them, the key component CSK motor has the characteristics of high pressure rating, large displacement, small volume and long service life, which can be comparable to piston motors. The advantage of being more compact makes it more suitable for fan systems in mobile machinery.
