The higher the sensitivity, the greater the information to noise ratio of the measurement system, and the system is not susceptible to electrostatic disturbance and electromagnetic fields, but in long-term use, there will be a certain error in the sensitivity of the sensor, so we need to adjust.
The sensitivity error of the accelerometer can be divided into two situations, one is that the sensitivity of the sensor is low, and the other is that the sensitivity error is large, so how to solve it?
Let's first talk about the solution to the situation of low sensitivity, there are two reasons for low sensitivity.
Reason 1: The insulation impedance of the sensitive core of the accelerometer decreases
Solution: If the insulation resistance of the sensitive core decreases, the accelerometer needs to be baked within its operating temperature range, and the sensitivity can increase again, but generally decreases again.
Reason 2: The piezoelectric coefficient of the sensitive core is attenuated
Solution: If the piezoelectric coefficient of the sensitive core is attenuated, then the sensor needs to be calibrated de novo.
So what is the problem of large sensitivity error?
First of all, it is caused by the excessive temperature response coefficient of piezoelectric data in a non-room temperature environment, and to solve this problem, it is necessary to choose an accelerometer with a small temperature response coefficient error.
