Turck presents sensors for online monitoring of temperature and air humidity for online monitoring of the Industrial Internet of Things and sensor-to-cloud use.

Composite air humidity/temperature sensor for cost-effective condition monitoring in the field or in IIoT use; Thanks to its IO-Link interface, it is very easy to integrate into the system. The CMTH-M12 combines two measuring variables, air humidity and temperature, in a single device, making it ideal for condition monitoring systems in machines and plants, or for monitoring environmental conditions in production halls and warehouses in a wide range of industries, from the automotive industry and semiconductor to the food industry and agriculture.

IO-LINK FOR EASY CONFIGURATION

The sensor transmits the temperature and air humidity as continuous process values via IO-LINK process data. Two limit sizes are also supplied, each with a small value and a large value. When the value exceeds the scale, it is possible to output a positive signal. THE BIDIRECTIONAL IO-LINK INTERFACE CAN ALSO BE USED TO TRANSMIT PERIODIC USER DATA AS WELL AS POSITIVE AND STATUS AUDIO, SUCH AS OPERATING HOURS. The conventional switching output is also available as a selective supply.

Data profiling

When combined with Turck's multiprotocol I/O devices, user data and profiling data can be transmitted over a separate Ethernet protocol. Modbus/TCP can be used as a parallel channel for profiling data when the I/O modules transmit user data to higher-level controllers via Ethernet/IP or Profinet. This information can also be provided to mobile access around the world through Turck's marginal gateways and cloud stacks.
