1) There is a difference between the two-wire system and the three-wire system of the proximity switch, and the three-wire system is divided into NPN type and PNP type, and their wiring is different
2) The wiring of the two-wire proximity switch is relatively simple, and the proximity switch can be connected to the power supply after being connected to the load in series.
3) The wiring of the three-wire proximity switch: the red (brown) wire is connected to the positive end of the power supply; The blue wire is connected to the 0V end of the power supply; The yellow (black) line is the signal and should be connected to the load. The other end of the load is connected like this: for the NPN type proximity switch, it should be connected to the positive end of the power supply; For PNP type proximity switches, they should be connected to the 0V side of the power supply.
4) The load of the proximity switch can be a digital input module for a signal lamp, relay coil or programmable controller PLC.
5) Special attention should be paid to the type selection of the three-wire proximity switch connected to the PLC digital input module. PLC digital input modules can generally be divided into two categories: one type of common input terminal for the power supply 0V, current flow from the input module (Japan form), at this time, must choose NPN type close switch; The other type of common input terminal is the positive end of the power supply, and the current flows into the input module, that is, the well input (European type), in this case, the PNP type proximity switch must be selected. Don't make the wrong choice.
6) The two-wire system proximity switch is constrained by the operating conditions, and the switch itself must have a certain voltage drop when it is turned on, and there is a certain amount of remaining current flowing through when it is cut-off, which should be considered when selecting. Although the three-wire proximity switch has one more wire, it is not bothered by unfavorable factors such as the remaining current, and the operation is more reliable.
7) Some manufacturers will draw out the "normally open" and "normally closed" signals of the proximity switch together, or add other functions, in this case, please wire according to the product manual.
Turck proximity switches are as follows:
(1) The structure is simple, and the sensor has no movable electrical contacts, so the operation is reliable and has a long service life.
(2) High sensitivity and resolution, can detect 0.01 micron displacement change. The output signal of the sensor is strong, and the voltage sensitivity can generally reach hundreds of millivolts per millimeter of displacement
(3) The linearity and repeatability are relatively good, and the nonlinear error of the sensor can reach 0.05%-0.1% within the scale of the required positioning shift (tens of microns to several millimeters). Together, this sensor can realize the long-distance transmission, recording, display and control of information, and it is widely used in industrial automatic control systems. However, it has the disadvantages of low frequency response and unsuitable for fast dynamic measurement and control.

Routine maintenance of pressure sensors – Turck
1. Avoid scum deposited in the conduit and touch the sensor with corrosive or overheated media.
2. When measuring the gas pressure, the pressure valve should be opened at the top of the process pipeline, and the sensor should also be installed in the upper part of the process pipeline, so that the accumulated liquid can be easily injected into the process.

Torque sensor failure and solution - Turck
The use of hysteresis dynamometers in the field of dynamometer applications (HD series) is suitable for testing low to medium power (up to 14kW intermittent mode) motors. The hysteresis dynamometer does not need to rely on speed to generate torque, but uses a hysteresis braking system, which can carry out the whole process test from no-load to latching. Lag...
