Communication contactors are not necessary for inverters, and because they are built-in, the price of VFDs is higher than that of soft engines. Frequency conversion skill is a motor control equipment with high skill content, complete control function and good control function in the field of modern motor control. It regulates the speed and torque of the motor by changing the frequency of the power grid. Because it involves power electronics skills and microcomputer skills, the cost is high, and the requirements for repair skills are high, so it is mainly used in fields that require speed regulation and high requirements for speed control.

With the rapid development of power electronics skills and new semiconductor equipment, communication speed control skills have been continuously improved, and frequency conversion skills have been widely used in communication motors with their outstanding output waveforms and excellent cost performance. For example, the communication frequency conversion motor has been used in large motors in steel plants, small and medium-sized roller motors, traction motors for railway and urban rail transit, elevator motors, lifting motors for container lifting equipment, pump fan motors, compressors, household appliances, etc., and has achieved outstanding results.

The frequency converter can change the initial output frequency. For example, the output frequency starts at 0 Hz and gradually increases to 50 Hz, thus decreasing the starting current. However, inverter motors cannot be operated under heavy loads. After the inverter of the induced draft fan of our factory, the inlet and outlet baffle of the fan should be opened before starting, and the starting voltage of the inverter motor is very low (the starting voltage is controlled by the inverter itself). The starting voltage of the 6KV induced draft fan is less than 1KV.
