On August 11, 2022, the Hannover Messe 2022 Appreciation Seminar: Digital Processing Solutions for the Discrete and Process Industries was successfully held. The seminar was tutored by the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Joint Conference Office, hosted by the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Intelligent Production Innovation Consortium and Tus-Caohejing Science and Technology Park, organized by the Smart Factory Research Institute and Beijing Yineng Cube Technology Co., Ltd., and jointly supported by Songjiang District Industrial Enterprise Federation, Science and Technology Automation Alliance, Hannover Milano Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Wanbolian Science and Technology Center. The event was held online and broadcast live through the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor and the E-Energy Cube video account.
The 2022 Hannover Messe Appreciation Seminar Series is arranged to compensate for the absence of too many domestic companies from Hannover and the regret that domestic loyal visitors have not been able to attend the exhibition on-site.
The event was hosted by Mr. Wang Jian, President of the Smart Factory Research Institute, as a guest, and Mr. Ning Zhenbo, the former chief staff officer of the Information Technology Center of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, was specially invited to participate in the interaction and comments. At the beginning of the event, Mr. Wang Jian, President of the Smart Factory Research Institute, introduced the background of the Hannover Messe Appreciation Seminar series of activities, as well as the theme and guests of this issue.
Subsequently, representatives of the four companies successively shared the theme. Mr. Xu Yongshuo, a senior digital expert of SAP, introduced the highlights of SAP's participation in Hannover Messe and SAP's Industry 4.0 strategy with the layout of SAP's exhibition area as the starting point. SAP demonstrated the end-to-end process of connecting D2O and D2C in Hannover, as well as the messy assembly PEO and cloud production, so as to wonderfully connect the discrete production and process production processing solutions into a whole, which is very distinctive. Mr. Xu's speech highlighted SAP's positioning in China as an enabler of "new Chinese enterprises" in the cloud era, and proposed to empower Industry 4.0 with Design Factory and create an end-to-end fully connected and tolerant supply chain, so as to achieve sustainable development.
Mr. Takuya Miwa, General Manager of Business Planning Department of Yaskawa Electric (China) Co., Ltd., shared the main content of Yaskawa's exhibition, "i3-Mechatronics", i3 is the abbreviation of integration, intelligence and innovation, which aims to analyze, model, learn and feedback the data generated by the production system, and generate production instructions that integrate the data analysis results in the cloud and the marginal side, thus forming a closed loop. In addition, Yaskawa Electric demonstrated its response and products for the sustainable concept initiated by the United Nations, such as a new concept controller for autonomous control of equipment using data and servo drives for mechanical control using data profiling. Yaskawa Electric, which was the first in the world to propose the concept of mechatronics, is trying to lead the transformation of the production system with data-driven i-cube mechatronics skills.
Mr. Cui Xiaoping, Business Strategy Officer of Chemical Industry of Siemens China Co., Ltd., gave a speech from four aspects: booth layout and five value sectors (availability and scalability, sustainability and profitability, patience and flexibility, efficiency and quality, and transparency and speed), keywords of hundreds of panel discussions (such as digital twin, marginal computing, ecosystem, industrial 5G), digital architecture and sustainable development of intelligent process factories. Combined with the typical pain points of customers in China's process industry, the speech introduced Siemens' new full Web-based DCS system software PCS neo. Mr. Cui finally brought out the topic of sustainable development and invited the audience to participate in the third special forum on green power and sustainable development.
Mr. Wu Shangan, Outstanding Chief Operations Manager of the Industrial Adapter Division of Weidmüller Electro Connectivity (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., presented the highlight video of Weidmüller Exhibition, explained the concept of connecting digitalization and intelligent connection, and highlighted the Weidmüller SPE Single Pair Ethernet connector and the SNAP IN squirrel cage Omnimate 4.0 connector, which won the 2022 Germany Innovation Award. Founded in 1850, the Germany company has shown us the entrepreneurial energy of dedication, inheritance and innovation.
Mr. Ning Zhenbo, the former chief staff officer of the Information Technology Center of China Aviation Industry Corporation, made interesting comments and professional discussions after each guest's speech. In the final roundtable interactive session, the director guided the guests to introduce the most valuable products or skills for Chinese users in their own minds, and had a heated discussion on the global strategy of their respective enterprises, China's strategy, and how to maintain their competitiveness in the current highly uncertain market environment. In view of the development of industrial software, Mr. Ning Zhenbo pointed out that globalization is an inevitable trend, industrial software is a global ecology, and the development of industrial software in China has a long way to go, and it is still necessary to learn from the world's excellent software enterprises.
The four world companies invited to this seminar include SAP, a leader in the field of industrial software, and Yaskawa Electric, a hard-core representative in the field of mechatronics; There are not only the world's leading companies in the field of automation, Siemens, but also the hidden champion company Weidmüller, which is still innovative after 170 years.
