Recently, the Weidmüller Group has been awarded a Germany Planning Award for the PV Next – Combiner Box for Generators concept and the corporate film "Love from Ertmold Germany" – the Planning Committee has been awarded a Planning Award.
Compact planning, sensitive connection types: Weidmüller's "PV Next" is the world's first generator combiner box concept based on standardised printed circuit board planning. This product can help photovoltaic equipment installers save time and money. In addition, the "PV Next" can be connected to the inverter and the PV module, eliminating the need for wiring by 50% and providing overvoltage protection to the system. As a result, the product ensures a high degree of sustainability in photovoltaic power generation, especially the conversion of DC to AC more efficiently. The "PV Next" jury awarded the "Gold Award", the highest award in the category "Excellent Product Design".
The corporate film "Love from Detmold" won the Germany Planning Award 2023, the second time the film has won the Germany Brand Award in 2022. Since its premiere in autumn 2021, the promotional film has highlighted more details of Weidmüller's product development and production. At the same time, it conveys Weidmüller's values and his down-to-earth style. The concept of the promotional film originated from Weidmüller itself.
