During the operation of the motor, the current should not exceed the additional current on the nameplate, and the three-phase current unbalance should not exceed 10% when there is no load, and not exceed 5% when the medium load is above. The error between the power supply voltage and the additional voltage shall not exceed ±5%, and the three-phase voltage unbalance shall not exceed 1.5%. The temperature rise of the core or casing of the motor shall not exceed the temperature rise value specified by the insulation level of the motor. Class E is: 80k (resistance method); Class F is: 105K (resistance method). The motor should be repaired, and it should be repaired every month, and it should be overhauled if it is not overhauled every year.

If the brake is not disconnected after the motor is connected to the power supply, the motor will still be in the braking state at this moment, and the power supply must be blocked immediately to avoid burning out the motor, check the rectifier excitation circuit of the electromagnetic brake, and then put it into trial operation after sweeping away the fault. After the motor runs no-load for a period of time, it should be parked to check once to investigate whether the mechanical connection parts are loose; Whether the bearing is overheated and leaked; Whether the brakes can be completely disengaged.

2. The use and protection characteristics of pole-changing multi-speed motors

The pole-changing multi-speed motor chooses to change the connection of the windings to change the number of poles and output power of the motor, so as to match the load characteristics of the mechanical equipment, so as to simplify its variable speed system and save a lot of electrical energy. In addition to the winding design, the primary component of the motor for multi-speed motors is the same as that of the basic series. There are three types of multi-speed motors: two-speed, three-speed, and four-speed. There are 4/8, 4/12, 4/6, 6/16, 4/24, 6/24, 4/6/24, 4/8/32, 2/4/20, 4/6/8/12 and so on.

The pole-changing multi-speed asynchronous motor uses the method of switching the outgoing wire to control the speed change, so the number of outgoing wires is more than that of the general motor. The number of two-, three- and four-speed motors is 6, 9 and 12 respectively. In order to improve the operational reliability of multi-speed motors, it is important to design and configure a high-performance variable speed control unit. When designing and operating the control device of the multi-speed motor, it is necessary to disconnect the center point of the 2Y wiring at the time of blocking the power supply when switching between high speed and low speed, so as to avoid a short circuit of the power supply when the low-speed winding is turned on.

The wiring of multi-speed motors should be strictly in accordance with the wiring identification and wiring diagram of the motor when it leaves the factory.
