1. Constant force
Torque sensors were first used for polishing, polishing, and other applications. Because these applications are difficult to automate, the robot needs some feeds to confirm that its drive is sufficient.
By introducing reactive circuitry into your program, you can easily automate these applications and make your manufacturing process consistent. In this case, you need to use external devices rather than embedded solutions from the robot manufacturer.
2. Targeting.
We are in constant contact with customers who often believe that the only way to locate and size parts is through the use of vision sensors. But this is not the only solution. There's no denying that vision systems are a great way to locate or quantify parts, but it's also possible to use force sensors to find and inspect parts. It's one thing to confirm their position in the X-Y plane, it's another thing to confirm their height. In fact, it takes a 3D vision system to be able to do this. If it's a pile of objects, you don't need to know the exact number of the whole pile, you just need to go to that pile every time. The robot only needs to confirm the height of the object and then continuously adjust its gripping height.
Another look-up function of a force sensor is the free form of the sensor. This could be that the parameters of the FT sensor are underutilized. Free-form or zero-gravity form will free up the robot's axes and then advance its compliance. For example, if you want to tighten a component on a CNC machine, you are able to free up both axes, close the part perfectly, and maintain a certain grip. This allows the force to act entirely on the center of gravity of the part and not to produce the rated force on the axis of the robot.
3. Repetitive power
If you're thinking about using a robot to complete a assembly mission, you expect the robot to repeat the same mission over and over again. However, one of the reasons why assembly missions are difficult to automate is that they require operators to perform stress tests. With the introduction of FT sensors, you can feel the force exerted during the assembly process.
When installing a battery on a mobile phone, the robot needs to exert a very precise force. Because these parts are easily damaged, they are difficult to assemble thoroughly. That's why a very low force threshold is set to prevent misalignment and damage to parts.
4. Weigh things.
The methods we use have nothing to do with their color, but with their weight. Orange pucks are heavier than blue pucks. The sensor is able to distinguish them according to different weights.
This can also be used to distinguish between different parts with similar shapes. However, in real life, it is very helpful to know if you have the right object in your handle, and perhaps if the object has fallen. We can assist you in your production process. Torque sensors make this very easy.
5. Manual booting.
Most cobots utilize built-in FT sensors for manual coaching, but traditional industrial robots do not have this type of sensor built-in. With it, you'll be able to tutor the robot manually without using teaching instruments. As long as there are sensors, the teaching of the robot can be completed by setting the beginning and end of the robot, and ending with a linear track of the suction center.

Selection and testing of ifm proximity switches
1. Proximity switch selection
Different types of proximity switches should be selected for different raw material detectors and different detection intervals to have a high-performance price ratio in the system, for which the following principles should be followed in the selection:
1. When the detector body is metal material, the high-frequency oscillation type should be selected.

What are the typical designs of torque sensors – ifm
Unlike load cells or force transducers, the measuring body of a torque transducer is not subjected to a tension load when used, but is torsionally affected by lever torque or torque. Therefore, torque sensors require special strain gauges to measure this type of load, i.e. torque. Canon...

The reason why the output signal of the photoelectric sensor is unstable
Photoelectric switch (photoelectric sensor) is the abbreviation of photoelectric proximity switch, which uses the shielding or reflection of the beam by the detected object to connect the circuit by the synchronous loop to detect the presence or absence of the object. When the photoelectric sensor outputs the signal, the signal is occasionally unstable, and many people do not know what to do.

Precautions for accelerometer installation
Pick the right adhesive! We need to know the importance of adhesives, many people do not pay attention to the selection of adhesives, the natural frequency of the accelerometer is determined by the degree of coupling of the bond, so it is important to choose the right adhesive. The weight of the accelerometer is also what we have to test.

The main feature of the wireless sensor network is the ifm sensor
(1) Large-scale
In order to obtain accurate information, many sensor nodes are usually arranged in the monitoring area, perhaps in the tens of thousands, or even more. The large-scale nature of the sensor network contains two implications: on the one hand, the sensor nodes are distributed in a large geographic area, such as in the original ...

The difference between the ifm proximity switch PNP and NPN
There are two kinds of proximity switches: NPN output type (current inflow) and PNP output type (current outflow), when the current outflow sensor (PNP output type) is turned on, the current flows from the power supply to the load through the output terminal of the sensor, enters the load, and then flows to the connection.

The function and purpose of ifm pressure sensors
Pressure sensors are one of the more common sensors. Conventional pressure sensors are primarily mechanical devices, and the deformation of elastic parts indicates pressure. However, due to their size and weight, they are unable to generate electricity. The development of semiconductor skills has also led to the emergence of semiconductor pressure sensors.
