ifm has the widest range of IO-Link sensors on the market. The new RFID antenna further completes the original product variety. The RFID antenna is planned to connect to the IO-Link master. The master* can supply up to 8 M12 sockets for easy connection to IO-Link RFID antennas. Depending on the version, the IO-Link master is supplied with EtherCAT, Profibus, Ethernet TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP or PROFINET interfaces to the PLC. The rugged antennas are protected to IP 67 and IP 69K and can be used in harsh industrial environments. All RFID tags with the HF standard ISO 15693 can be used.
