Decentralized processing of signals, good readability of different process parameters and freely selectable scale factors
Clear, easy-to-read display
It can be equipped in different formats via IO-Link or the setting menu
If the set limit is exceeded or not reached, the appearance can be changed to red/yellow/green
16-bit resolution
Additional functions such as offset compensation, filters, uniformity, signal comparison, and more
Analog Manifestation 4.0
The new multi-function display is much more than just a display: it decentralizes the preprocessing of digital signals and transmits the information to higher-level controllers. This smart function makes it ideal for Industry 4.0 applications.
Multi-function analog value display screen
The smart display visualizes a wide range of sensor process parameters and has either an analog output or a transmitter with a canonical signal output. The freely adjustable scale factor allows it to convert and indicate the input signal to a physical value such as pressure, temperature, or volumetric flow. For example, if a pressure transmitter is used, the volume of the container can be displayed. Offsets between input signals can also be performed, e.g. for differential pressure measurement.
Friendly operation
All settings can be made via a modern resistive touchscreen interface. The display automatically changes from the display form to the parameter setting form. Alternatively, all settings can be made via IO-Link. All parameters are displayed on the screen in clear text, making them intuitive and easy to use. The cipher mechanism provides protection against tampering.
Monitoring of limit values
Up to four limits can be defined by the user. If the setpoint is not reached or exceeded, up to four transistor output switches can be used. In addition, the IO-Link version transmits the pre-processed information directly to the PLC.
Manifestation of clarity
The output status is displayed, and the displayed color can be red, yellow, or green, depending on the process value. Free text input allows you to assign units to values that are not listed.

The reason why the measurement results of the dynamic torque sensor do not match the accuracy – ifm
In the motor test system, the measurement of torque is often achieved by dynamic torque sensors.
The motor under test is connected to the dynamic torque sensor through the coupling, and the other end of the sensor is connected to the load motor through the coupling. When the system is operating, the motor under test is operating in the speed ring ...

Precautions for measuring hydrogen with pressure transmitters – ifm
Hydrogen is a colorless and odorless gas, with a density of 0.09 g/L (the lightest gas) under standard conditions, and is poorly soluble in water. At -252 °C, it becomes a colorless liquid, and at -259 °C, it becomes a snowflake-like solid.
When measuring hydrogen, pay attention to:
Hydrogen...

How to care for ifm sensors
1. When measuring the liquid pressure, in order to prevent the sensor from being damaged by overpressure, the device position of the sensor should prevent the impact of the liquid.
2. When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, it is necessary to connect a condenser such as a buffer pipe.
3. The impulse pipe should be installed in a place where the temperature fluctuation is small.

Photoelectric sensor classification – ifm sensors
(1) Fork photoelectric sensor
Placing a light emitter and a sticker face to face on either side of a slot is a fork photonics. The luminaire can announce infrared or visible light, and the luminaire can receive light in an unobstructed environment. But when the object to be detected passes through the slot, the light is blocked ...

The reason why the output signal of the photoelectric sensor is unstable
Photoelectric switch (photoelectric sensor) is the abbreviation of photoelectric proximity switch, which uses the shielding or reflection of the beam by the detected object to connect the circuit by the synchronous loop to detect the presence or absence of the object. When the photoelectric sensor outputs the signal, the signal is occasionally unstable, and many people do not know what to do.
