13. How does Universal Robots track conveyor belt reclaiming? What is the fastest speed?

The robot is able to track the reclaiming of the conveyor belt, which requires accurate knowledge of the direction and speed of the conveyor belt (including speed changes), and the relevant parameters need to be integrated into the robot's movement speed.

Firstly, the feature function of the "Installation Settings" window is used to define the linear feature and obtain the movement direction of the conveyor belt. Secondly, the conveyor speed is read in real time by pulse encoder or Modbus TCP encoder, and the tick per meter is calculated by using the conveyor encoder resolution and the radius of the rotating disc as the tracking coefficient of the robot. Finally, the Universal Robots "Tracking Conveyor" program template was used to complete the conveyor tracking reclaim.

Universal Robots move from 0 m/s to conveyor speed, which requires an acceleration process, and the robot travels are short, so it is recommended that the conveyor speed should not exceed 1 m/s.
