Rittal's enclosure – seven common faults in the distribution cabinet and their failure analysis

1. The circuit breaker cannot be closed

Causes:

1. The undervoltage coil does not work (the voltage is normal). Solution: Replace the undervoltage coil.

2. Press the closing button, and the closing coil will not work when it is powered up. Solution: Replace the undervoltage coil.

3. Poor contact of the closing button. Workaround: Replace the closing button.

4. The melt core of the control loop is burned out. Solution: Replace the fuse core after confirming that the control loop is normal and there is no short circuit.

5. The circuit breaker is not stored for energy. Solution: Check that the motor control supply voltage must be ≥ 85%.

6. The closing solenoid controls the power supply voltage less than 85%. Solution: The power supply voltage of the closing solenoid must be ≥ 85%.

7. The closing solenoid has been damaged. Solution: Replace the closing solenoid.

8. Poor contact of the secondary circuit of the drawer circuit breaker. Solution: Shake out the drawer circuit breaker and shake it back to the "on" position. Check whether the secondary circuit is connected reliably.

9. The universal transfer switch is in the stop position. Solution: Turn the switch to the left or right power supply.

2. The main switch of the incoming cabinet cannot be opened

Causes:

1. The opening button is not in good contact. Workaround: Replace the opening button.

2. The opening coil burns out. Solution: Replace the opening coil

3. The main metering reactive power meter is reversed or not rotated

Causes:

1. The power factor of capacitance compensation is high or advanced. Solution: Adjust the capacitance compensation to 0.92-0.97.

2. The phase sequence of the transformer incoming line is wrong. Workaround: Readjust the phase sequence.

3. The voltage and current circuit is normal. Solution: Replace the reactive power meter.

Fourth, the capacitor cabinet can not be automatically switched

Causes:

1. The current sampling signal line is not connected. Solution: Connect the current sampling signal line.

2. Check whether the fused core of the controller is burned out. Solution: Replace the melt core.

3. The voltage is too high, and the controller shows overvoltage. Solution: Adjust the overvoltage protection point.

4. The current is small, and the controller display is ahead. Solution: It can work normally automatically when the current is increased.

5. The compensator of the capacitor cabinet (distribution cabinet related category: box-type substation and distribution box) shows overvoltage. Solution: Adjust the set voltage value higher than the actual voltage.

6. The current sampling signal line is not connected. Solution: Connect the current sampling signal line.

7. The fuse core of the compensation controller is burned out. Solution: Replace the melt core.

8. The current is small. Solution: Further debugging and processing after the electric current increases.

Fifth, the drawer outlet line energy meter does not turn

Causes:

1. Check whether the secondary plug-in is in poor contact. Solution: Adjust the secondary plug-in contact piece.

2. The current and voltage are normal. Solution: Replace the watt-hour meter.

6. Dual-power switching cannot be switched automatically

Causes:

1. The universal transfer switch does not go to the automatic position. Workaround: Turn the switch to the automatic position.

2. The manual transfer switch is not converted to the automatic position. Solution: Turn the handle automatic transfer switch to the automatic position.

3. The under-voltage tripper is not closed. Solution: Check whether the voltage is consistent with the tripper voltage level V ≥ 85%.

4. The time relay is not closed. Solution: Check whether the contact voltage of the time relay 2#7# is normal.

5. The circuit breaker excitation mechanism is not reset. Solution: Check whether the mechanical interlock is loose and whether there is any stuckness.

7. The power factor of the capacitor cabinet cannot reach more than 0.9

Causes:

1. The capacitance of the capacitor is reduced. Solution: Replace the capacitor.

2. Some circuits are not energized. Solution: Replace after inspection.

3. The original design load increases. Solution: Increase the compensation capacity of the capacitor bank.
