2. Precautions for the use of the equipment

(1) When installing the welding gun, it is necessary to pay attention to the need to align the joint with the outer wire at the rear end of the gun neck and the plastic lock nut with copper inner wire of the integrated cable, and then tighten it gently and smoothly! To ensure that the conductive surface of the gun neck and the cable are in close contact! If it is not fully tightened, there will be a gap between the conductive surface of the gun neck and the cable, and the gap discharge will occur due to the large current, and the conductive surface will be damaged, so that the gun neck and the cable will have irreparable faults.

(2) For water-cooled welding guns, due to intermittent welding, the copper lock nut often alternates between cold and hot, which may lead to loose threads, intermittent discharge burns between the gun neck and the cable, so the plastic lock nut should be checked and tightened regularly every week, but be careful not to use too much force to cause slippage.

(3) If there is water leakage at the cable flange, please check whether the gun neck is installed correctly in time; If the contact surface of the gun neck cable has been damaged, please send it to the manufacturer for repair in time, and do not close the water tank to continue to use, otherwise there will be irreparable damage!

(4) To ensure full cooling when the water-cooled welding torch is working, the TBi water-cooled welding torch requires the water flow to reach 1.6L/min-2 under a pressure of 2bar. 0L/min; Please check the water tank, water pipes and water quality frequently, and change the cooling liquid in the tank regularly every 3 months (distilled water, plus antifreeze in winter).

(5) Regular maintenance of the gun cleaning station: the gun cleaning station must use dry and clean compressed air, and unscrew the bakelite screws under the air motor every week to drain water so as not to rust the shaft and affect the rotation; The moving shaft is oiled once a month; Weekly cleaning of equipment; Check the silicone oil in the silicone oil bottle once a week.

(6) Before and after each use of the welding gun, please check whether the nozzle, contact tip, contact tip holder, gas shunt, insulating gasket, wire feeding tube, inner wire tube and other consumables are correctly installed and in good condition, and replace them in time if there is any problem.

(7) If the wire feeding is not smooth, please replace the wire feeding tube, inner wire tube, etc., and check the wire feeding wheel of the wire feeder, the pressure is too small will affect the wire feeding, and the excessive pressure will damage the surface of the wire and affect the stability of the arc strike.

(8) Please use the protective equipment correctly and operate the welding torch according to the correct procedures to ensure safety.
