The types of planning and production valves include gate valves, globe valves, check valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, tension spring safety valves, regulating valves, throttle valves, diaphragm valves, bellows globe valves, etc. Among the 19 enterprises, there are five enterprises with planned production of nuclear I. valves (Shen Gao, Zhong Nuclear Su Valve, Dagao, Shang Valve, Shanghai Lianggong,). Most of the valves produced in China for nuclear power plants are non-nuclear and nuclear II and III valves.
The research and development of domestic nuclear-grade valves began in the early 60s. Up to now, after decades of efforts, China has formed a certain scale of nuclear-grade valve planning, testing, production, testing capabilities, and for the first and second phase of the construction of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant to supply a lot of nuclear and non-nuclear valves, for the localization of nuclear power valves has made an important contribution. At present, China has successfully developed and produced the pressurized water reactor nuclear island nuclear I. electric gate valve and check valve; Nuclear Class I Electric Bellows Globe Valve, Nuclear Class II Electric Bellows Sodium Globe Valve for Fast Breeder Reactor and other nuclear-grade valves with a high level. At the same time, under the guidance of the country's nuclear power development policy, this ability is being strengthened and expanded in an agile manner. A number of old enterprises represented by China Nuclear Su Valve Technology Industry Co., Ltd., Shenyang Shengshi High and High Pressure Valve Co., Ltd., Dalian Dagao Valve Co., Ltd., etc., are improving the planning, production and testing level of nuclear power valves in enterprises by increasing investment in skill transformation, personnel skills training, digestion and absorption of foreign skills, etc., so as to quickly adapt to the pace of localization requirements of nuclear power valves, and meet the needs of the gradual localization of national nuclear power. A group of entrepreneurs of new enterprises have strategic vision, do not hesitate to invest huge manpower and material resources, introduce talents, equipment, methods, and management, and have obtained (or are obtaining) the qualifications of planning and producing nuclear-grade valves. These are the brilliant achievements and gratifying points in the career development of China's valves, as long as this momentum of development continues, it will bear fruit in the process of completing the localization of nuclear power valves in China.
The planning, production and testing of domestic nuclear-grade valves have a certain foundation, and have obtained certain results, and the development prospects are promising. However, we should also be soberly aware that there are still some domestic nuclear power valves with low skill level, quality and reliability are not advanced, which will affect the localization of nuclear power valves to a certain extent. Some important valves such as pilot operated safety valves, regulating valves, and main vapor isolation valves in nuclear power plants such as nuclear islands and conventional islands cannot be supplied with sophisticated and reliable products in China. At the same time, due to the limitation of domestic nuclear power valve test methods, as well as skills, management and other reasons, the reliability data of nuclear power valve products is small, the level of automatic control is low, and the quality of the product is unstable. Nuclear power is based on the principle of safety and reliability. The problems existing in domestic nuclear power valves have led to the reluctance or difficulty of nuclear power plant owners to choose domestically produced nuclear power valves.
