1. Soft sealing material

(1) Butadiene rubber (NBR). Butadiene rubber has excellent oil resistance; The heat resistance is better than that of natural rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber; Good air tightness and water resistance. Dingjing rubber can be divided into Dingjing-18, Dingjing-26 and Dingjing-40. Xiangjing rubber is suitable for petroleum products, benzene, toluene, water, acid and alkali media with a temperature of -60-+120 degrees.

(2) Fluoroelastomer (FKM). Fluoroelastomer is heat-resistant, acid-alkali resistant, oil-resistant, saturated water and steam-resistant, compression deformation is small, and air tightness is good. Viton is suitable for petroleum products, water, acid and alcohol at a temperature of -30-+220 degrees.

(3) Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). PTFE is resistant to high temperature, chemical corrosion, low coefficient of friction, but low mechanical strength, easy creep and low elasticity. It is suitable for corrosive media with temperatures as small as 170 degrees Celsius.

2. Hard sealing material

(1) Copper alloy. Copper alloy has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance in water or steam, and is suitable for medium with PN≤1.6MPa and a temperature of no more than 200 degrees, and can be fixed on the body by means of ring structure or surfacing welding and casting. Commonly used grades are ZCuAl10Fe3 (aluminum bronze) and ZCuZn38Mn2Pb2 (cast brass).

(2) Chromium stainless steel. Chromium stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and is usually used in water, steam and oil, and the temperature does not exceed 450 degrees. Commonly used grades are 2Cr13 and 1Cr13.

(3) Stellite alloys. Stellite cemented carbide corrosion resistance. The comprehensive properties such as erosion resistance and scratch resistance are very good, and it is suitable for various valves for different purposes and various different media with a temperature of -268-+650 degrees, especially strong corrosive media, which is one of the more ideal sealing surface materials. Due to the high price, Stellite alloys mostly use surfacing welding.

(4) Nickel-based alloys. Nickel-based alloys are another important type of materials in the field of corrosion resistance, and there are three kinds of sealing surface materials: Monel, Hastelloy B and Hastelloy C. Monel is the main material to resist hydrofluoric acid corrosion, suitable for alkali, salt, food with a temperature of -240-+482 degrees, and acidic solvent media without air. Hastelloy B and Hastelloy C are the most comprehensive corrosion-resistant materials in the valve sealing surface materials, suitable for corrosive mineral acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, wet HCI gas, and strong oxidizing medium with a temperature of 371 degrees (hardness 14RC); At the same time, it is suitable for chloric acid-free solution with a temperature of 538 degrees (23RC) and strong oxidizing medium.

(5) Iron-based alloys. Iron-based alloy is a newly developed sealing surface material in China, which has better wear resistance and scratch resistance than 2Cr13, and has a certain corrosion resistance, which can replace 2Cr13. It is suitable for non-corrosive media with a temperature of less than or equal to 450 degrees. Commonly used grades are WF311 and WF312 iron-based powders.
