Due to the high-precision step angle control technology of the HB stepper motor, this motor is widely used in the paper feeding mechanism of multifunctional multifunction machines and the banknote transfer mechanism of automatic teller machines.
In order to meet the customer's requirements for energy saving and miniaturization, the company integrates the new generation of control technology with the brushless DC motor of the main product, and develops a brushless DC motor with the same level of step angle accuracy as the HB stepper motor. Since this motor is equipped with high-precision step angle control, it can be driven and maintained in step like the HB type stepper motor.
The successful development of next-generation control technology eliminates the need for coding discs in our existing 24H series motors.
More than 10 HB-type stepper motors are used in large-scale multifunction machines, but because the basic driving method and the accuracy of step angle control between HB-type stepper motors and brushless DC motors are different, brushless DC motors cannot meet the basic characteristics required by the market even if there is a market demand in the past.
However, the successful development of a new generation of motor control technology has enabled brushless DC motors to meet the market demand, and they have the following advantages in multifunctional multifunction machines.

Successful development of next-generation control technology
In contrast to HB-type stepper motors, which use pulses to control the angle of rotation, brushless DC motors can control the pulse input to a specified position like a wave when energized. In order for brushless DC motors to be used in conventional HB-type stepper motors, it is necessary to overcome two major issues: accurate speed control and reduction of start-up deviations.
In order to integrate the different characteristics of brushless DC motors and HB stepper motors, we focus on the research of high-precision optical encoders and encoder control technologies for the former. For the latter, we analyze the technical elements in the step angle control through the principle of quality engineering, and adjust the technical parameters to the optimization.
In addition, within the allowable range of the current value, the brushless DC motor accelerates with full force to increase the speed to the specified maximum speed. When the rotational speed reaches the maximum rotational speed, the brushless DC motor begins to decelerate. When decelerating, so-called speed fluctuations occur. In order to eliminate this fluctuation in the shortest possible time, the company has successfully developed a new control system that enables the brushless DC motor to accelerate or decelerate in the shortest possible time. As a result, the MFP with this brushless DC motor is able to print the first sheet of paper in the shortest possible time, meeting the needs of the customer.
The control system has been improved to make the operation process of the brushless DC motor closer to that of the HB stepper motor.
