Japan Servo Co., Ltd. officially launched a brushless DC motor equipped with Can-Bus communication. This motor is mainly used for the push mechanism of vending machine.
"Brushless DC motor with Can-Bus communication" Can-Bus (Controller Area Network-Bus) is an internal communication network that connects components inside cars and trains, known as the Automotive Bus Standard. It is characterized by the fact that the microcontroller and the device can communicate with each other without the need for a host computer. Originally designed for multiplexed electrical wiring in automobiles, where noise resistance was required, Can-Bus is now widely used to transmit control information in equipment, as well as in robotics such as transportation equipment and machine tools.
The brushless DC motor with Can-Bus communication function developed by Japan Servo is equipped with this function as a motor for the cargo pusher, and the motors can be connected to each other without the need for a main unit. The tightening of refrigerant control requires that the vending machine itself should be explosion-proof, and the market demand is increasing because the brushless DC motor does not produce sparks.
