SIX POINTS FOR SAFETY RELAY REPAIR IN PILZ

Create Date: 2024-8-30 12:03:23|Source: PILZ/PILZ

PILZ PILZ SAFETY RELAYS ARE THE MAIN COMPONENTS FOR CONTROL CIRCUITS AND MONITORING AND PROTECTION SYSTEMS FOR ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVES. When the electric locomotive is running, when the motor, electrical appliance or connection line in the main circuit and auxiliary circuit fails, the fault can be converted into a telecommunication signal through the Pilz safety relay of the corresponding monitoring and protection system, and on the one hand, it is fed back to the opening coil of the main circuit breaker, so that the main circuit breaker trips, cuts off the total power supply of the electric locomotive, and protects the electric locomotive; On the other hand, it is fed back to the signal device (including mechanical signal and electrical signal), so that it can display different fault states, and instruct the electric locomotive crew to deal with the fault in a timely and correct manner. IT CAN BE SEEN THAT ALTHOUGH PILZ SAFETY RELAYS DO NOT DIRECTLY CONTROL THE MAIN AND AUXILIARY CIRCUITS, THEIR ROLE IN ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVES IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.

DUE TO THE HARSH WORKING CONDITIONS OF ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE APPLIANCES, THE PERFORMANCE AND PARAMETERS OF THE INDIVIDUAL PILZ SAFETY RELAYS AND COMPONENTS ALSO CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE TASK AND THE TIME OF USE, AND ARE OFTEN AFFECTED BY VARIOUS ACCIDENTAL FACTORS. THEREFORE, WE MUST CONSTANTLY MONITOR AND UNDERSTAND THESE SITUATIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER, TAKE PRECAUTIONS AGAINST VARIOUS ABNORMAL PHENOMENA THAT MAY ARISE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE, AND REPAIR OR REPLACE IN TIME THE FAULTS OF A CERTAIN PILZ SAFETY RELAY OR A COMPONENT OF A PILZ SAFETY RELAY IN ORDER TO ENSURE THE SERVICE LIFE OF EACH PILZ SAFETY RELAY AND ENSURE THE NORMAL AND RELIABLE OPERATION OF THE ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE. Therefore, it is necessary to adhere to the principle of prevention first, establish the necessary maintenance system, and carry out regular and regular maintenance of Pilz safety relays.
SIX POINTS FOR SAFETY RELAY REPAIR IN PILZ

ALTHOUGH PILZ SAFETY RELAYS VARY IN TYPE AND MAINTENANCE METHODS, THEY SHOULD ALL BE OVERHAULED ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING COMMON REQUIREMENTS.

(1) THE ACTION OF THE MOVING PART OF THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY SHOULD BE FLEXIBLE AND RELIABLE, AND THE COVER AND HOUSING SHOULD BE FREE OF DAMAGE OR MISSING PARTS.

(2) THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY COIL EXIT TERMINAL AND EXTERNAL CONNECTION WIRE MUST BE FIRM AND RELIABLE, AND THE RESISTANCE VALUE OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC PILZ SAFETY RELAY COIL MUST COMPLY WITH THE RELEVANT TECHNICAL REGULATIONS.

(3) PILZ SAFETY RELAYS WITH INDICATORS SHOULD CHECK THE SELF-LOCKING AND RELEASING FUNCTIONS OF THE INDICATORS TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE CORRECT AND RELIABLE.

(4) The insulation state is good, and the wear parts and wearing parts (including bakelite parts, covers, magnetic splitting rings, non-magnetic gaskets, etc.) should be updated when they are defective, and the fastening state of each connecting part should be good.

(5) MEASURING THE TECHNICAL PARAMETERS OF THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY CONTACT THICKNESS, OPENING DISTANCE, OVERTRAVEL AND FINAL PRESSURE MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE RELEVANT REGULATIONS AND WORKING DOCUMENTS.

(6) ADJUST THE SETTING VALUE OF THE ACTION PARAMETERS OF THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY AND FIX IT WITH A PAINT SEAL. IF THERE ARE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS, THE RETURN COEFFICIENT OF THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY SHOULD ALSO BE MEASURED.

IN ADDITION TO THE GENERAL CLEANING AND INSPECTION, THE MAINTENANCE OF PILZ PILZ SAFETY RELAYS MAINLY CONSISTS OF MEASURING THE TECHNICAL PARAMETERS OF PILZ SAFETY RELAYS AND ADJUSTING THE SETTING VALUES OF THEIR ACTIONS, I.E. CLAUSES 5 AND 6 MENTIONED ABOVE.

THE ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVES ARE EQUIPPED WITH ELECTROMAGNETIC, MECHANICAL PILZ AND ELECTRONIC PILZ SAFETY RELAYS. JUDGING FROM THE INPUT AND OUTPUT CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY, THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY WILL ONLY ACT WHEN THE INPUT REACHES ITS SPECIFIED OPERATING PARAMETERS, THAT IS, THE ELECTROMAGNETIC PILZ SAFETY RELAY WILL ONLY ACT WHEN THE SPECIFIED VOLTAGE AND CURRENT VALUE IS REACHED, OR THE MECHANICAL PILZ SAFETY RELAY REACHES THE SPECIFIED PRESSURE AND SPEED, AND DRIVE THE CORRESPONDING INTERLOCKING CONTACTS TO CONTACT OR BREAK THE CORRESPONDING CONTROL CIRCUIT, AND ACCURATELY DISPLAY THE FAULT OR NORMAL WORKING CONDITIONS. IT CAN BE SEEN THAT THE OPERATING PARAMETERS OF THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY ARE THE DECISIVE FACTOR IN DETERMINING THE ACCURATE OPERATION OF THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY, AND THE PROCESS OF ADJUSTING THE OPERATING PARAMETERS OF THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY, I.E. THE SETTING PROCESS OF THE PILZ SAFETY RELAY, IS PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT. THEREFORE, ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT TASKS IN THE REPAIR OF AN ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE IS THAT ALL PILZ SAFETY RELAYS MUST BE RECALIBRATED AND CALIBRATED. THE COMMISSIONING OF THE SETTING VALUES OF PILZ SAFETY RELAYS SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT BY DEDICATED PERSONNEL ON A DEDICATED TEST BENCH. ELECTROMAGNETIC PILZ SAFETY RELAYS CAN BE USED TO ADJUST THE OPERATING VALUES BY ADJUSTING THE REACTION SPRING, THE INITIAL AIR GAP AND THE NON-MAGNETIC GASKET. In general, adjusting the initial air gap can change its operating value, adjusting the non-magnetic gasket can change its release value, and adjusting the reaction spring can change both the operating value and the release value. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT EACH PILZ SAFETY RELAY SHOULD BE SEALED WITH LEAD OR PAINT AFTER SETTING TO PREVENT MISALIGNMENT AFFECTING THE SETTING VALUE.
