Shanghai, China, July 2, 2021 – Tridium, a wholly owned subsidiary of Honeywell, today announced that more than 1 million units of the Niagara Framework® ("Niagara"), an open software framework platform for the Internet of Things, have been commercially deployed worldwide. This achievement is a testament to Niagara's leadership in data integration and standardization in the smart building industry, and demonstrates the strength of the Niagara community.

More than 20 years since Niagara was born, it has coincided with the convergence and flourishing of operational technology and enterprise information technology. With the growth of the demand for IoT layout, the growth of Niagara's deployment volume continues to accelerate. Since 2005, when the count of sales licenses began, the number of Niagara installations and deployments reached 200,000 units in 2010 and has increased by approximately 800,000 units since 2010, bringing the total number to more than one million units.
