Mosa announces that its Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) gateway for marginal accounting services supports access to Microsoft Azure IoT, accelerating the convergence of operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT). Embedding Azure IoT Edge in Moxa's IIoT gateway enables Microsoft Azure users to easily extend their IT infrastructure and work together to interconnect OT data for their industrial-grade use. IIoT gateways will also further improve the two-layer benefits of Azure IoT Edge: the ability to securely and reliably collect information from the field and transmit it to the cloud for data analysis and monitoring, and together make field devices more intelligent.
The integration of Azure IoT Edge and Moxa's IIoT Gateway will benefit customers, especially those who use the Linux channel for multiple forms of operations.
