The China International Industry Fair (CIIF2020) will officially open in Shanghai on September 15, which is the first large-scale industrial fair to be held this year, which has attracted wide attention from the industry. TSN (Time-Sensitive Network) can ensure the deterministic transmission of important control signals and data within the corresponding time range accepted by the control system, breaking through the shortcomings of the closed protocol unique to traditional real-time Ethernet, and realizing high-bandwidth deterministic transmission on the standard Ethernet network, which is one of the next generation of industrial automation network infrastructure.
As a leader in the field of industrial communication, Moxa has been actively involved in the development of TSN-related standards and the construction of test platforms, and today, Moxa's industrial Ethernet switches have obtained both CC-Link IETSNClassA and ClassB certifications, and are being mass-produced and marketed globally, promoting the implementation of TSN.
The CIIF and CC-Link Association jointly created TSN application scenarios, which fully reflected the characteristics of high bandwidth, low latency, and reliable deterministic network transmission of multiple information, showed the form of the future industry's autonomous communication pyramid, and reflected the key role of TSN technology in the future factory.
