InnoTrans (Berlin, Germany), a global rail transit event that has been affected by the epidemic for four years, ended satisfactorily on September 23. This year's theme is The Future of Mobility. Digitalization is the key to the success of sustainable smart rail transit, and Moxa has been leading the development of rail communication skills to meet the changing market demand.
At the conference, Moxa showcased the TSN-based next-generation Train Control and Monitoring System (TCMS) network plan, which has already achieved groundbreaking results in the Safe4RAIL-2 and Safe4RAIL-3 projects, as well as the 5G train-to-ground communication solution plan to implement reliable and timely trajectory network connectivity.
In order to ensure the security of the trajectory network, stable network communication is required, advanced safety features and field experience are essential, and cooperation with global train manufacturers is required. For the first time, Moxa also demonstrated a security router with a built-in firewall that blocks critical systems through partitioning skills.
Moxa participates in the European Union's Safe4RAIL Next-Generation TCMS Wired and Wireless Safety Network Project: A data-driven concept based on TSN skills to complete deterministic networking, while allowing locomotive manufacturers to guarantee high compatibility through a standard protocol.
