As a basic industry of the national economy, transportation is an important support for China's lofty goal of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way. The construction of digital highways is developing rapidly under the promotion of traffic control skills, Internet of Things and cloud skills and policy guidance, and the Quhuang section of the expressway in Zhejiang Province is a representative of its application. Since its operation in 2011, the video surveillance system of Zhejiang Quhuang Expressway has adopted a traditional analog standard definition monitoring system. The equipment is aging with the increase of service life, and it can no longer meet the daily operation and management of the monitoring center and the traffic police department of the road section, as well as the needs of dealing with emergencies and abnormal events. More importantly, the monitoring network is not blocked, and the three networks need to be transformed to block it, so as to reduce the impact between different systems, and prevent other transactions from affecting or invading the monitoring network, so as to better ensure the normal operation of the monitoring system. Starting from its own needs, and combined with the requirements of the ministry and the provincial level, Zhejiang Quhuang Expressway began to carry out high-definition upgrading and transformation of the monitoring system in batches in 2018, 2019 and 2020. From mechanical and electrical transformation, to network construction, to digital high-speed; From Quhuang Expressway, to Zhejiang Expressway Infrastructure, to the national high-speed "one network", Zhejiang Communications Group has realized its own transformation and promotion to radiate the whole country and promote the development of the entire digital high-speed industry.
Technical challenges
With the increase of underlying equipment and the introduction of high-definition video data transmission requirements, the network equipment in the original electromechanical system of Quhuang Expressway cannot meet the carrying requirements.
When there is a problem or equipment is abnormal on site, real-time control cannot be realized, and it is difficult for on-site personnel who are not familiar with network handling to perform the investigation.
The original video surveillance uses independent optical transmission channels, and the channels cannot be connected, and the video data can not be used effectively.
solution
The upgrade of network equipment can effectively expand the bandwidth and enable the interconnection of network management and video surveillance.
Moxa's network management software, MXview, enables a centralized network administration with visualization.
MXview supports the opening of API interfaces, which can better meet the individual needs of users.
Collaborative results
After arranging a visual management system, operation and maintenance personnel can find faults in a timely and accurate manner, which greatly improves the power of troubleshooting; Together, it can enable O&M personnel who are not familiar with network management to clearly understand the on-site situation and reduce the impact of personnel turnover.
Long-distance O&M can break through the distance gap between on-site equipment and O&M personnel, and O&M personnel can directly solve problems over long distances, making it more convenient to improve power together, which can effectively save O&M costs.
