  On March 31, EFORT, a leading domestic robot company, signed a structural cooperation agreement with Alibaba Cloud, and the two sides will work together to build the first cloud-edge-end integrated intelligent robot cloud channel in the profession, so that more factories can use robots and take the first step towards intelligence.

China is the largest terminal application mall for industrial robots. The latest report of the World Federation of Robotics (IFR) shows that the annual new installation of industrial robots in China is 141,000 units. But a large number of industrial robots will be concentrated in the field of car and electronic production. According to occupational accounting, in large car factories, there are about 3,000 industrial robots for every 10,000 workers, but in other production categories, the human-machine ratio is less than 5 per 1,000.

A series of problems such as messy programming, poor consistency of incoming materials, and frequent production changes have prevented the batch application of traditional industrial robots in general industrial enterprises. IFR's report pointed out that nearly half of the industrial robots are still at the transfer level and fail to penetrate into the key process links of production.

"EFORT expects that through the collaboration with Alibaba Cloud, it will deal with the problem of small batch mixed production in the factory, provide more friendly intelligent processing solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises that cannot afford to use robots, and promote industrial transformation and upgrading." Xu Lijin, chairman of EFORT Intelligent Equipment, said.

According to the agreement, the two sides will mobilize domestic self-developed robot skills, cloud accounting and artificial intelligence skills, and use Alibaba Cloud's industrial brain as the skill base of EFORT's intelligent robot cloud channel. By integrating machine vision, track planning, artificial intelligence, automatic control skills, and process models and data, the cloud channel can lower the threshold for engineers to program and apply algorithms, and improve the autonomy and intelligence of robots. It can meet the "flexible requirements" of small-batch mixed line production, and to a certain extent, compensate for the lack of process engineers in small and medium-sized factories.

It is reported that the intelligent robot cloud channel will first be used in furniture spraying factories. Because of the small batch size of single products and the large difference in incoming material standards, the automation level of the furniture profession is low, which is a typical application scenario of the intelligent robot cloud channel. In Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, EFORT has participated in the construction of an intelligent shared spraying center for the furniture industry cluster, which is welcomed by the local government and professions because of its improvement of the level of occupational intelligence, environmental protection and workers' health. At present, the furniture sharing factory has been put into construction in the second phase.

According to public information, Alibaba Cloud Industrial Brain combines artificial intelligence skills with automatic control skills, and has been widely used in cars, intelligent equipment, cement, steel, electricity and other occupations.
