Introduction: Fisher/Fisher YD and YS 3-way cage pilot valves are designed for throttling or on/off service and are available in balanced and unbalanced configurations. YD valves are used in general merging and diverting applications. YS valves are used in general merging applications. Fisher YD and YS valves are used in a wide range of applications, including sulfide and chloride stress cracking environments common in the oil and gas production industry.
Features:
The balanced plug construction employed by the YD allows for the use of smaller, less expensive actuators. The one-piece valve design allows for a common combination of two trim designs and uses Fisher easy-e™ bonnets, gaskets, and packings, thus reducing spare parts inventory costs.
Valves specifically designed for 3-way control are multi-purpose. A variety of valve sizes, end connections, port diameters, and trim materials are available in a variety of designs to meet your control needs.
The ENVIRO-SEAL™ packing system is available as an option. This packing system is designed for excellent sealing, guiding and load force transfer.
The hardened trim material provides excellent wear resistance.
The cage construction simplifies the inspection and removal of components.
Packing parts, including packing flanges, studs and nuts, and packing boxes are commonly used in YD, YS, and Fisher easy-e control valves.
