What is a development PC port?

The development PC interface port supports the following USB types.

- USB2.0 High Speed/Full Speed (Speed Auto Selection or Full Speed Format) - USB1.1 Full Speed Interface Standard: Compatible with USB Standard Version 2.0 (USB Version 1.1 Upwards Compatible) Connect the Epson Robot and the Development PC via a USB cable to develop the robot system or set up the robot configuration with the EPSON RC+ 7.0 software installed on the Development PC.

The PC interface port for development supports hot-swappable function. Even when the power is on, it is possible to plug and unplug cables from development PCs and robots. However, removing the USB cable from the robot or development PC during the connection will suspend the operation.

Memory port

Connect a commercially available USB memory to the robot memory port to use the controller status storage function through the USB memory.

What is the Controller Health Storage Function?

This function saves various data of the Epson robot to a USB memory. The data saved in the USB memory is loaded into EPSON RC+ 7.0 to obtain a simple and precise picture of the condition of the robot and the program.

The saved data can also be used for rehabilitation robots.

When operating the robot, it is not possible to store the status of the robot through the USB memory.
