The Fisher V260 is a full-bore control valve with a bottom-up design that maximizes pressure, flow, and process control. Integral borehole silencers are used to control noise and vibration generated by high-pressure drop liquids and gases. The spline shaft is connected with the actuator, which reduces the movement loss.

The ball-to-shaft connection is splined, the shaft-to-actuator connection is also a spline link, and the dual power end guide bushing assembly as well as the trunnion guide all contribute to improved dynamic control.
In a single-stage construction, the V260A valve achieves noise reduction performance of up to -20 dBA. The two-stage construction provides noise reduction performance up to -25 dBA.
The noise-reducing cage is an integral part of the sealing assembly. The sealing ring only touches the surface of the ball, not the noise reduction cage, which improves the service life.
Materials are supplied in accordance with NACE Standard MR0175-2002.
Pressure-assisting, self-adjusting seals provide tight shut-off for long-term, reliable service.
The ball trunnion design is suitable for demanding applications that require long service life, low maintenance time and low cost.
In the most demanding conditions, the noise reduction cage can be activated by ball rotation, or a special noise reduction cage can be used to match the operating conditions.
