Rosemount transmitters must be installed in a constant temperature environment, which is also determined by the characteristics of the flange transmitter. If the medium measured is a viscous liquid, it will be easier to form a blockage of the impulse pipe and present a failure, which is an ordinary transmitter will be filled with isolation liquid, and auxiliary equipment such as isolators and condensers can deal with the blockage.

The capillaries in the flange transmitter are sealed, so if the capillaries are replaced with the capillaries during the measurement, there will be no blockage. Another point is that because the filling fluid in the capillary is selected, the chemical and physical properties are stable, and naturally it will not be as easy to vaporize and freeze as the medium in the impulse tube. Therefore, when we use flange transmitters, they must be installed in a constant temperature environment, which can also reduce the maintenance workload.

Installation of the Rosemount 3051 Pressure Transmitter:

1. Admit that the power supply of the pressure transmitter between the cabinets has been unloaded

2. Admit that there is no debris between the head of the impulse pipe of the transmitter and the joint of the impulse pipe

3. Install the transmitter on the bracket and tighten the fixing screws with a screwdriver

4. Use a movable wrench to connect and fix the pressure transmitter impulse pipe joint

5. Use an explosion-proof Phillips screwdriver to remove the pressure transmitter cover, and correctly connect the signal line according to the terminal wiring diagram

6. Connect the power supply of the transmitter

7. Use the HART communicator in the station control room to adjust the zero point and full level

8. Admit to opening the inlet valve and root valve of the pressure transmitter and closing the venting valve

9. Check whether the joints are leaking with leakage liquid.
