How the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter works

The 3051 pressure transmitter is used to measure the level, density, and pressure of liquids, gases, or vapors, and then convert the pressure signal into a 4-20mADC signal output. There are mainly capacitive pressure transmitters and diffusion silicon pressure transmitters, ceramic pressure transmitters, strain gauge pressure transmitters, etc.
How the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter works
  The dielectric pressure acts directly on the sensitive diaphragm, and the Wheatstone bridge composed of resistors distributed on the sensitive diaphragm uses the piezoresistive effect to realize the conversion of pressure to electrical signal, and amplifies the millivolt signal generated by the sensitive element into an industrial standard signal through the electronic circuit.

Pressure transmitters come in two forms:

1. Direct installation method, that is, the pressure transformer with pressure gauge joint, one section of the joint is threaded directly on the pressure transformer, and the other is directly welded with the process (such as process pipeline). In this way, the gauge head can be supported firmly by relying only on the transmitter joint.

2. Impulse tube installation method, this way needs to support the meter head, that is, you mentioned the need for various brackets.

3. Generally speaking, there are two kinds of mounting brackets, panel installation and pipe installation. The pipe installation is 2 pipes, which are generally pinned and L-shaped. The panels are all L-shaped and can be fixed on the dashboard or on a vertical plane, such as a wall.
