(2) When the constant voltage power supply is supplied, it needs to be started with a starter. Close the power switch, under the load of the motor, turn the starter, stay on each contact for about 2S, until the last point, the rotating arm is attracted by the electromagnet.

(3) When the motor is powered by a separate adjustable power supply, the excitation winding is energized first, and the power supply voltage is reduced to a minimum, and then the armature circuit contactor is closed, and the voltage is gradually increased to the rated value or the required speed.

(4) The motor is connected with the coupling of the production machinery first, and the rated armature voltage of less than 10% is input to determine whether the speed direction of the motor and the production machinery is consistent, and when it is consistent, it means that the wiring is correct.

(5) When the motor commutator is equipped with a tachogenerator, after the motor starts, the output characteristics of the tachogenerator should be checked, and the polarity should be consistent with the polarity of the control screen.

(6) After the motor is started, observe whether there is a spark on the commutator and whether the spark level exceeds the standard.
