In recent years, the use of torque sensors has gradually increased, it can convert physical changes into accurate electrical signals, so what methods can torque sensors go through?
The mature test method of torque sensor is strain electric measurement technology, which has the advantages of high accuracy, fast frequency response, good reliability and long life.
A strain bridge is formed by attaching a special change strain gauge to an elastic shaft with a strain adhesive. If a power supply is supplied to the strain bridge, the electrical signal of the elastic shaft can be measured.
This is the basic mode of the torque sensor. However, in a rotating power transmission system, the tricky problem for SUI is the bridge pressure input and the strain signal output detected by the strain bridge on the rotating body. How to reliably transfer between the rotating part and the static part is usually done with a conductive slip ring.
Because slip rings are attributed to collision touch, wear and heating inevitably occur, which restricts the speed of the shaft and the service life of the slip ring. Because the contact caused by signal fluctuation is unreliable, resulting in large measurement errors, and even unsuccessful measurement.
In order to overcome the defects of conductive slip rings, another way is to use radio telemetry technology: the torque strain signal is amplified on the rotating shaft, converted into a frequency signal with V≤F, and then through carrier modulation, and then radio-accepted, the change signal of the rotating shaft is wirelessly transmitted from the rotating axis to the outside.

The correct way to test the output of the sensor – the sensor
1. Test for NPN output sensor
The NPN sensor output, also known as OC gate output, is based on the principle of open collector output of a transistor.
The principle of NPN type OC gate output is whether the output of the NPN transistor and GND are short-circuited. When the control is active, the transistor is turned on, the output and the GND ...

Problems with differential pressure sensors – Blessing
1. Temperature
Excessive temperature is one of the common causes of differential pressure sensor failure, as there are many components of the differential pressure sensor that can only function properly within the specified temperature scale. During installation, if the sensor is exposed to temperatures beyond these temperature scales, it may be exposed to ...

Illustrate the dynamic characteristics and linearity of our sensors
The dynamic characteristics of a sensor refer to the characteristics of the output of the sensor when the input changes. In practice, the dynamic characteristics of the sensor are often indicated by its echo to some normative input signals, because the echo of the sensor to the normative input signal is easy to obtain by experimental methods, ...

No output problems with pressure transmitters – a blessing
1. Assuming that the pressure transmitter and the digital display are used together, and the digital display is not displayed at this time, then the user may say that the pressure transmitter has no output, but in fact, this problem is obvious, and it is unreasonable to hastily determine that the pressure transmitter has no output. Assuming the normal output of the pressure transmitter, ...

How to choose a pressure sensor – we are blessed
1. Recognize the type of pressure measurement, that is, to measure the gauge pressure, absolute pressure or differential pressure. Gauge pressure refers to the pressure value with atmospheric pressure as the zero point, which can have positive and negative values, positive above atmospheric pressure, and negative below atmospheric pressure. The absolute difference refers to the pressure value with the vacuum as the zero point, and the absolute pressure is as long as the value is positive ...

A little bit about photoelectric sensors – a blessing
Under normal circumstances, a photoelectric sensor consists of two parts: a processing path and a processing element. Its basic principle is to use the photoelectric effect to convert the measured change into a change in the optical signal, and then use the optoelectronic components to further convert the non-electrical signal into an electrical signal. The "photoelectric effect" refers to the use of light ...

The role and classification of safety barriers
In electrical intrinsic safety explosion-proof (abbreviation: intrinsically safe explosion-proof), we generally divide the workplace into explosion-proof area and non-explosion-proof area. There is the transmission of electrical energy between the explosion-proof area and the non-explosion-proof area, for example, the switches, buttons, sensors, etc. in the explosion-proof area are connected to the non-explosion-proof area through the wires.

Safety barriers are used for intrinsically safe system features
The barrier and barrier are composed of four parts: the input signal processing unit, the barrier unit, the output signal processing unit, and the power supply. Depending on the direction of the signal, a substantial safety plan is added to the input or output unit, which then forms a barrier and a barrier. Traditional barrier and safety ...
