The Fisher®V260 is an 8- to 16-inch flanged full-bore ball valve that can be matched to the CL300 or CL600 lb class for high flow process applications. Order the V260 with the option of a noise reduction cage or an anti-cavitation cage to reduce noise.
Excellent throttling – spline connection between ball to shaft, spline connection to shaft connection, spline connection to shaft connection, dual power end bushing assembly and trunnion guidance all contribute to improved dynamic control.
Aerodynamic performance—The V260A achieves noise reduction of up to -20 dBA in a single-stage construction. The two-stage construction provides noise reduction performance up to -25 dBA.
Increased service life – The noise reduction cage is an integral part of the sealing assembly. The sealing ring only touches the surface of the ball, not the noise reduction cage, which improves the service life.
Trim versatility—The main valve components, such as body, ball, shaft, and bearing, are interchangeable between the V260A, V260B, and V260C designs. This feature helps to reduce the number of service parts and save time on maintenance.
Can be used in sour service and sour crudes – available in materials according to NACE standard MR0175-2002.
Tight Shutdown – Pressure-assist self-adjusting seals provide tight shutdown for those long-term, stable operating conditions. The design is sealed with a heavy-duty S31600 stainless steel bracket support combination for full rated pressure drop.
Heavy-duty trunnions—Ball trunnions are designed for demanding applications that require long service life, low maintenance time, and low cost.
Wide range of hydraulic applications—The V260B's single-stage, second- and three-stage noise-reducing cages are suitable for a wide range of applications. A Kc value of 1.0 can be achieved, depending on the operating conditions.
Flexible application – the noise reduction cage can be activated by ball rotation in the most demanding conditions, or a special noise reduction cage can be used to match the operating conditions.
