The Fisher Model 585C actuator is typically equipped with a DVC6200 digital valve controller or a 360OP/P or I/P analog positioner. Can be used with a top-mounted or side-mounted manual handwheel (depending on the size of the actuator).

Depending on the size, travel up to 203 mm (8 inches) is available.
The universal NAMUR installation provides a consistent installation method and also provides the vibration resistance specified by ISA-S75.13.
The double-acting construction allows for solid and accurate positioning.
Sizes 25 and 50 585C actuators with top-mounted handwheels. All other sizes of 585C actuators can accommodate side-mounted handwheels.
The 25 and 50 size actuators have offset springs. An offset spring under the piston retracts the actuator pushrod when the air supply is disconnected, while an offset spring on the top of the piston expands the actuator pushrod.
Low-friction piston seals and cylinder coatings reduce sliding friction and wear.
