The Fisher Fisher FIELDVUE DVC6205 DVC6215 remote-mount digital valve controller by Emerson has proven to be the ideal solution for applications where accessibility, extreme temperatures (up to 120°C / 250°F), extreme vibration, or confined spaces make overall installation difficult or impossible.
Industries such as pulp and paper and nuclear power typically prefer to separate the instrumentation in which the valve is installed from harsh environments, and the DVC6205 digital valve controller only requires valve position feedback to be installed on the control valve, and for the remaining components, can be installed in a more stable and accessible environment (up to 300 feet).
THE REMOTE VALVE INSTALLATION FEEDBACK DEVICE UTILIZES** FIELDVUE'S NON-LINKED, NON-CONTACT TECHNOLOGY, WHICH ELIMINATES DIRECT CONTACT BETWEEN THE STEM AND THE INSTRUMENT. This means that there is no need to worry about wear, slackening, corrosion or vibration of the linkage, so the feedback device can adapt to the extreme operating conditions throughout the plant.
