1) Coil problem
Use a voltmeter to measure the voltage across the coil. This should help you determine if the coil is working properly. You can also gently pull the coil to feel if there is a magnetic force acting on it. If it proves difficult to pull, the coil creates a magnetic field, which creates a laser current. The burned coil needs to be replaced.
2) Voltage error
If the voltage is incorrect, check that the power supply meets the manufacturer's specifications. Rexroth solenoid valve voltage requirements vary. It can be a 12V solenoid valve or a 24V DC solenoid valve, and the wrong power supply can damage the valve circuit and coil. The AC voltage also varies from one solenoid valve to another. The 110-120V solenoid valve should be used with the corresponding power supply. Anything higher than this may end up damaging the valve.
3) Differential pressure
Rexroth solenoid valves are available in different pressure specifications. Check to make sure the pressure through the port does not exceed or fall below the manufacturer's level. 4) Damaged, dirty, missing parts of the seat or seal
