Robust, precise and efficient: EMC-HP stands for an economical solution for a wide range of heavy-duty applications such as press-fitting, riveting, positioning and testing.
The Bosch Rexroth electric axis (EMC) series is now available in a high-power, high-power EMC-HP version with high precision and easy maintenance. Designed for heavy-duty applications up to 100 kN, its new power pack is robust, compact and easy to maintain. The planetary lead screw drive used is reliable and provides the user with stable and continuous power even under harsh conditions. This is achieved thanks to the new oil lubrication method and the optional direct water cooling of the spindle. As with the rest of the EMC family, a complete digital process from selection to ordering reduces engineering time.
Available in 115, 130 and 160 (housing diameters) with IP54 protection, the new EMC-HP is now available for strokes up to 1,500 mm, from stamping, forming and riveting to a wide range of heavy-duty applications for tensioning, positioning and testing.
Each EMC-HP uses the proven Planetary Screw Assembly (PLSA) from Bosch Rexroth, which achieves extremely high standards in terms of control precision and dynamic performance. With a dynamic load capacity (Cdyn) of up to 189.5 kN, axial forces of up to 100 kN and speeds of up to 0.83 m/s, heavy-duty movements can be carried out quickly and accurately, even during complex movements, and the process is energy-efficient.
The robust and easy-to-maintain design features of the planetary screw assembly allow for extended lubrication intervals. In addition, when it is time to replace the seals, it can be done in just a few steps. Overall, this easy-to-maintain linear motion technology from Bosch Rexroth will contribute to increased productivity and lower total costs.

The engineering process is also a breeze: With the LinSelect electronic tool, the selection process is simple, the drives and e.g. can be configured online, and the EMC custom solution can be finalized and ready to order in a matter of minutes.
