The Bosch Rexroth ACTIVE Cockpit interactive software solution is suitable for a wide range of applications. After a successful market launch, the front-end of the software was improved and expanded based on user feedback. The redesigned basic software 5.0 provides more space for content and makes digital interaction on the shop floor easier and faster. New navigation concepts, favorites, and search capabilities for widgets or other content help end users achieve their goals faster. Several new applications have been added to the toolkit for increased productivity, availability, and continuous process optimization to digitally record, analyze, and track KPIs, anomalies, and metrics.

Increasing competitive pressures are forcing companies to continuously improve efficiency and make technical and organizational improvements, and ACTIVE Cockpit 5.0 ensures the transparency and interactivity needed to achieve this. The software works with large touch screens and connects production processes and company IT with people. Ease of operation with minimal expenditure.

As a result, production personnel can obtain relevant information faster, easier and more targeted. The integrated app and interface makes it easier to identify possible improvements. Application-to-app communication helps avoid waste and errors by sending relevant data to the right place.

To improve positioning and control, ACTIVE Cockpit 5.0 adds features such as advanced page navigation, favorites, and context-sensitive toolbars and bubble bars. The new navigation concept makes it easier to navigate through the content and access it directly from the screen. Bookmarks can be defined with a single click, selected later using the page navigation system, or set as a splash screen.

An additional grid area with a 16:9 aspect ratio on the splash screen provides room for more widget content. Displaying widget information in a semi-transparent form is also a new feature. This option can be activated for specific users to optimize browsing. New widget types are now available for uploading, editing, and positioning images and videos. The new player can play the content in a continuous loop. Notes and instructions have also been supplemented.

Flexible Extension: Add-on modules for the basic version

The ACTIVE Cockpit base software includes a dashboard, admin interface, views, meeting and description modules, as well as a Desklink feature for transferring content to the interface. The platform also offers add-on modules such as Lean Metrics, Deviation Manager, and Application Diagram to ensure the necessary connectivity to the backend. With the help of these modules, quality and safety incidents as well as faults can be digitally recorded, tracked, and managed. KPIs can also be configured to be easily visualized, analyzed, and co-presented with real-time data. No additional programming is required for commissioning of all software modules, and the configuration process is simple.
