During opening and closing operations, the remote opening and closing command is usually a high-level pulse of several hundred milliseconds. In order to prevent the pulse from becoming invalid before the end of the opening and closing operation, and to ensure that the opening and closing operation is completed, a holding circuit is added. Intuitively speaking, in order to avoid the tripping and closing outlet contact being disconnected before the DL auxiliary contact, resulting in incomplete tripping and closing action, the tripping and closing self-insistence loop is added. See the blue part of the figure for details. HBJ and TBJ separate represent the latching relay that closes and trips, and S1 represents the travel node of the energy storage spring.
During the closing operation, the HBJ Delixi relay is turned over, and the HBJ normally open contact is closed. At this moment, regardless of whether the closing outlet contact is disconnected or not, the closing circuit will be connected through the HBJ contact to complete the closing operation. At this moment, whether the closing outlet contact is disconnected before the DL auxiliary contact will not affect the circuit breaker closing. It's the same as a brake failure.
However, there is a downside to adding HBJ relays. After the closing command HBJ is activated, the opening and closing of the closing circuit is completely determined by the auxiliary contact DL. If the spring does not store energy and the circuit breaker cannot be normally closed, the normally closed contact of the DL will always be closed, and the closing current will always exist, which is easy to burn HQ. Therefore, the travel node S1 of the energy storage spring should be connected in series.
