Honeywell signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sunon Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Huayi Sanaifu New Materials Co., Ltd
Honeywell recently held the "Innovation Empowers a Sustainable Future - 2022 Honeywell Sustainability Summit" in Changsha to discuss innovative technologies and application practices in the field of sustainable development with partners, and signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with two Chinese companies in the fields of carbon capture, hydrogen production technology and environmentally friendly new materials to jointly promote the implementation of sustainable development technologies and help achieve China's "dual carbon" goals.
Honeywell's technical experts and partner representatives focused on the three major areas of resource recycling, carbon capture and green driving, introduced the technological innovation and application scenarios of plastic recycling and sustainable fuels, carbon capture and hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs), and conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on the fields of zero-waste urban recycling, low-carbon development of the aviation industry, carbon capture in thermal power plants, and low-carbon automotive materials. In addition, the participants also discussed sustainable market prospects, investment and financing, and provided professional strategic advice on sustainable investment for the industry.

(hereinafter referred to as "Sanaifu") to help partners achieve sustainable development goals with innovative technologies:
1. Honeywell will provide advanced technology and services for Sunon Chemical's clean coal hydrogen production and carbon capture and utilization demonstration projects, and jointly promote the development and commercialization of clean coal hydrogen production and carbon dioxide capture and economic comprehensive utilization technologies.
2. Honeywell will cooperate with 3F in the fields of environmental protection upgrading, energy conservation, low-carbon emission reduction and sustainable development, and the two parties will cooperate in the production and manufacturing technology of fluorine-containing materials, as well as the process and equipment of environmentally friendly incinerators. In addition, the two parties hope to explore and cooperate in the fields of digital transformation, smart factories and intelligent manufacturing, and promote the operation of chemical bases, parks and storage and transportation facilities by digital means.
